Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda that aims to restore Uganda's rhinoceros population. It is the only placee in Uganda where rhinos can be observed (Breitmaulnashorn (Ceratotherium simum / Weißes Nashorn / southern white rhinoceros / southern square-lipped rhinoceros / Ceratotherium simum simum)).

As we hiked the Sanctuary guided by two of the 78 park rangers after a heavy tropical thunderstorm we came across two small groups of rhinos - mothers with their cups.
