Cementerio Cristóbal Colón or Necrópolis de Cristóbal Colón is named for Christopher Columbus. Founded in 1870 after nach einer cholera epidemic. Today it is the biggest cemetry in Latin America and the most important - even more than La Recoleta in Buenos Aires.
